Basic Hatha Yoga

Yoga is an ancient form of movement used to increase flexibility, strength, relaxation, and balance. In class we practice standing, sitting and supine asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing) techniques. The end of class is devoted to a guided savasana. This class is suitable for any level of Yoga experience, from beginners to advanced Yogi’s. Classes once a week for 8 weeks

Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of Yoga that links breath to movement. Each pose is linked to another and the participants are constantly moving, using their breath to guide them from one pose to another. Vinyasa can be fast paced, so we recommend this class to on-going clients who have tried Yoga before (recommended 5-10 classes). Classes once a week for 8 weeks.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a gentle style of yoga that promotes flexibility of not only our muscles, but of the fascia surrounding the muscles, joints and bones. Improving the flexibility and mobility of our fascia helps keep our body in optimal alignment and can improve our flexibility by 50%. Yin also allows participants to work on breath and how to use it to de-stress, turn our mind off and just relax. Poses are done seated or lying down and held for several minutes. Recommended for beginners and on-going clients of all ages. Classes once a week for 8 weeks.
